The fact that you substantially raise prices every 3-4 months based on nothing but the fact that some time has passed is ridiculous. This doesn't fly in housing rental and I'm not sure why it's allowed for storage. My biggest regret is giving you any money at all. You can bank on never getting any of my money in the future and may God have mercy on your greed-filled soul(if you have one at all). I said good day, sir!

I am bad with names, but the gentleman that helped me work through my late payments in the office was amazing to work with. He was very clear at explaining the auction process so I knew how much time I had to catch up after losing my job (and then several months later finally finding a new one). One of the times I stopped by I forgot my coin purse. He remembered who it belonged to and knew I'd be back to make my catch up payments so he hung onto it. I'm grateful he was patient through my questions and panic. He listened to my concerns and addressed them honestly which made it easier for me to come up with a plan to catch up. It's always easy to say a company is great when everything is going smoothly, but how someone handles the effects of your hardships to their business can make or break a company. He was empathetic, but was sure to make sure I understood what my timeline needed to be to save my stuff, and made sure I was aware of all my options. I will be continuing to work with them.

This company is horrible. They forged my signature on a lease for a unit that has nothing of mine stored. I have a copy of the forged lease. One of my units leaked ruining many of my things. They refused to provide me with the insurance policy information that would cover the damage. I paid for the insurance btw. They drew up a new contract and forged my signature on a unit number that has none of my things in it! I asked for copies of the bill they said they couldn't print those. They also said that my rate was increased from $29 to $79 per unit. This company is terrible and dare I say criminal. I have copies of the original hand signed lease and the digital forged signature they have been charging me for. I'm hiring an attorney.

I’ve driven by this location for years. The time came when I needed a storage unit. I looked at multiple places comparing price, features and convenience of location. Compass had an extremely easy online reservation process with rates that were similar or better than competitors. The selling point was the location being less than a five minute drive from home which meant I could move without traveling all over town. When it came time to move in, Matt, the General Manager made the check-in process super easy. He was up front, answered all my questions and made suggestions that helped save money. I also rented a U-Haul just to round out the deal and keep everything in house. I’m extremely satisfied with how simple and stress free the experience was. Matt also laughed at my terrible jokes which is always a win in my book.

Most terrible experience with this place ever! Beware! I rented a unit in the summer of 2022 at the rate of 89 dollars per month. Within 6 months the rate was increased to 130 dollars a month. After the first year my rate went to 160 dollars a month. In the fall of 2023 I was at my unit arranging my business tools as a lot of other renters do the same. The next time I came to my unit I had a notice saying to see the office. Apparently because I was there working in my unit other people were uncomfortable and I was asked not to spend more than an hour a day at my unit! This was said by then manager Lindsay. Shortly after my rate increased to 200 dollars per month for a 10x12 unit. At the end of 2023 I had some hardship issues with my very toxic ex and explained to them my situation. I paid for 3 months up front. In April of 2024 they auctioned off my unit knowing that I was not able to have contact with them until May of 2024. When they auctioned my unit the person they sold it to tried to get several credit cards and other things using my information. When I found out and called compass self storage they told me I had 2 totes of pictures they kept for me which is a joke because half the stuff is broken and everything sentimental I had is gone. Another thing is do not give them your bank info or debit card online as they will try to run your card many times resulting in double and triple charges that takes forever for them to correct. After spending close to 5k with them and losing tons of valuables and sentimental items and now dealing with identity fraud.. I do not recommend them at all. They will not work with you and they will increase your rate to satisfy their greed. Not to mention they got a good scam with the auction thing too.. they knew I wouldn’t be able to fight them and with how much tools and other valuable stuff that was in the unit.. I am sure they made off nicely.. who cares about a long standing renter that’s paid thousands of dollars and respected their property. So beware that’s my experience with these crooks!

I wouldn't advise anybody to use the one on hamilton Ave at all. They don't have an emergency line for things like this at all total inconvenience. I don't need your 20 dollar discount I need my money back that I paid because I'm paying for a service and u guys have put a lock on my unit and it was paid. Horrible needs to shut the one on hamilton down. Be careful! I tried to use them and they wouldn't let me get a unit without using their insurance. I told them I had homeowners and it was covered and I didn't want theirs. They were pushy and said I had to use theirs. 100% opposite of what the person on the phone said. She said I could just decline it and use my own. I've used many storage units over the years and I've never had this issue.

Amazing!!!! Quick, fast, and no hassle. The unit was clean and the front desk manager was very delightful! I have rented from this location a few times over the course of 2 months while transitioning from renting to buying. Even better, they have U-Hauls on site for rental. It gets better! They even have the 26ft truck! Made our moving experience after closing so dang on easy! I love it here! The employees were good to work with when I needed to interact with them. The facility was nice and clean, I used the climate controlled unit. I had the storage unit for two years and my bill went up $100 over that time. My rate was higher than the listed price online. Be aware that you cannot get a fixed price and the rates will continually increase on a fixed schedule.
