Great storage facility was very helpful and knowledgeable staff. I was able to rent a unit over the phone for my daughter who is a student at Providence College nearby. It was quick and efficient and the storage facility is safe and has helpful staff for anyone who has students in the area looking to store their belongings over the summer.

Place is the worst storage facility I have ever used. First, the staff never picks up the phone. They constantly up the rent way too frequently.The rat infestation and flooding is beyond normal. Please, if you drive by this facility, keep driving. Yes, it's convenient because they are located off the highway and close to residential areas, yet the rent is way too high and your stuff will not be safe from rats and thieves. They owe me money.

I have never written a bad review, but I also had never had an experience as bad as with this location. ONLY use this storage if you have absolutely no other option. Absolutely horrible experience in all facets. My unit was effected by the flooding, which is fine, but they informed me weeks late, resulting in most of my items being unsalvageable. They charged me extra to move my unit upstairs and for another lock. The service has been terrible, with no apologies for any mistakes. There are errors in the website which has caused may wasted trips. I came to remove my things and finally terminate my services with them and they have blocked off the entire building to unload a truck for an indefinite amount of time (“hours”). Now I am not able to access my unit, even during the limited hours that it is open. Not only was there no warning, but it is also peak college move in season. I rented a car to pick up my stuff and now I have to extend the rental period. Absolutely ridiculous. The woman on the phone, when I called, was aloof and completely unapologetic. Overall, terrible experience and I recommend all college students and others look to find another option.

My girlfriend had a unit on the first floor unfortunately all of our stuff was destroyed due to a flood and the company did not allow access to anyone for 2 weeks, the building is falling apart and now after the flood it stinks like mold and there is a constant amount of trash everywhere. I feel bad for the workers their is a girl she is extremely helpful but the guy there named kyle always went above and beyond with helping people extremely nice. He helped us with our flood situation he seems to be working by himself alot. The company itself it sucks but the wokers that I’ve seen work there are fantastic

Rent has gone up 3x since I got my 2 10x20 units last year. I closed one unit down and moved it out due to this. My remaining unit went from $222 to over $325 over the last year and just received that third increase if $50 last week meanwhile the access hours have also been cut nearly in half. Hell of a time for a rate increase. I am looking for a new place to do business. I cant run a business like this. Staff on site is friendly. That's about the only positive.

Terrible experience, I lost all my belongings in the flood and they called me after 10 days even though they charged me that month, no one helped me with the disaster, there were no gloves, no bags and the trash can was huge that we couldn't reach to throw away the trash. To this day, no one has called me to help with my total loss.

All 1st floor units destroyed in a flood and the company didn’t even notify their tenants. It wasn’t until we went to retrieve items from our unit that we saw a hand written sign on the door explaining that no one could access the floor because of the flood. This about 4-5 days AFTER the flooding event. It wasn’t until after 10 days or so that we’re finally allowed to access our unit. Complete devastation and biohazard in there by that point. The company’s response was to have all tenants sign a waiver to enter, and then they pressed everyone to clean out their units asap, all by themselves. Only thing compass did to help was back in a dumpster to toss things in. No garbage bags, no bin carts to haul moldy and decrepit items to said dumpster, no paper towels, no gloves or masks. Needless to say, it’s a horrid nightmare in there right now and most likely will be for the foreseeable future. The managers or this place seem to have a complete and utter disregard for their tenants, some of which have been paying for the unit there for 15 years. I understand that floods are nobody’s fault, however, the response to it from Compass was embarrassingly incompetent.

Got a uhaul from here Wednesday. Kim and Justin were in the office! Normally I dread having to even get one because the process is long and just very frustrating. Justin was very friendly and explained everything upfront. He didn’t rush me or even make me feel like I had to rush my time with the truck. He actually calmed me down because I was anxious! Kim was very pleasant and when I brought the truck back she was with a customer but still managed to acknowledge us! I definitely will rent from here again and just because they were so kind I will rent their storage space for future! Awesome customer service and just a clean and friendly atmosphere!

This is one of the friendliest/Cleanest self storage companies I’ve been to in a long time . I recently got a unit with my wife and as soon as we walked in we were greeted by a gentleman named Will. There wasn’t a question unanswered or future solutions to any problems that might arise. My wife and I were extremely pleased with his knowledge of the business and the assurance he gave us about our unit security. We did some remodeling and needed a place to store alot of furniture and household items. Compass not only had very good pricing but the facility itself is great. It's indoors and climate controlled with an elevator and carts to move your boxes and furniture. The 3 different gentlemen I dealt with over the several months we rented all were professional, polite and very helpful. I wholeheartedly recommend Compass Storage if you need a unit for any length of time.

It's indoors and climate controlled with an elevator and carts to move your boxes and furniture.
