The facilities are clean. The staff will help you get set up but that's about it. Security is minimal. Cameras only cover the exterior of the buildings, but there aren't any covering the interior, where they are needed. We had a unit for a year while our house was being built. Our unit was robbed and half of the contents either taken or damaged. The security cameras revealed nothing and were so grainy, they were nearly useless. And since there are no cameras covering the interior hallways, where they would be the most helpful, there was no way to find out anything about the robbery. The staff did the minimum required, and the management was more concerned with making sure they weren't held accountable than helping us find the thieves. Based on our experience, I wouldn't recommend Compass Self Storage. They need to improve their security.
