I recently rented a unit at the self-storage facility, and I had the pleasure of working with Ashley. She was incredibly nice and professional throughout the entire process. Ashley answered all my questions and provided helpful insights, making it easy to choose the right storage unit. Her friendly demeanor and exceptional customer service truly made a difference. I experienced excellent customer service at this site. We arrived just as the employee was locking up to go on break, she instantly reopened the facility and gave us a tour of multiple units. Then continue to take time to help us book a new rental. The office was exceptionally clean and well decorated, and these units were considerably cheaper than others in town.

I show up and they say they can put me in a different unit and adjust the price which on the surface sounds good until they asked me for more money to move in. I thought it was the same price? It is but I have to pay. Super sketchy. Supposedly, I'm able to cancel so I'm waiting for my money back

My husband and I have stored here for about 3 years and had a great experience being the first time having a storage unit! Property is always clean and safe which gave us the reassurance we needed to store our belongings here. Ashley was the one who rented us our unit and was definitely a big part of this process with her integrity to help and provided us with excellent customer service and knowledge. She is very kind, professional and has a smile on her face every time we see her even if it was on property, she would take the time to stop and ask us how we were doing so, it was always good to see her. The company should be proud to have an asset like her on their team and will be referring others who might need a storage unit and we’ll be back ourselves if we ever need one again. Thank you for everything!!!!

Great service, always called back if they didn’t answer right away, always clean, never had any issues in my unit with temp or anything etc. highly recommend

Best storage option in town! (I've used multiple in a 3-mile radius and can confidently say this is by far the best!) This storage facility is clean, safe, and priced well, and has easy access with a keypad whenever you need it. I rented here for almost two years and never worried about my things. Ashley in the front office is absolutely wonderful. I can't say enough good things about her. She is the sweetest person and made the initial rental process so smooth, and once even gave me a call because I accidentally left something next to where my car had been parked. She took it up to the office for me until I could pick it up. I was blown away! I promise you, no other storage place in town will treat you as well as Compass will, because they don't have Ashley!

Horrible Company! Bait and Switch Scheme. I signed up online and filled out form and paid pretty straight forward. I get an email saying I have to come site to get access again nothing wrong with that. I arrive and the Store Manager was there doing my paperwork and said she needs a secondary contact (phone, name & email ) which I told her I declined this OPTION on the online form. The manager told me its mandatory Compass Storage policy and I said why is it optional online? No answer. I told her if I don't pay auction my unit. I furthermore declined the OPTIONAL insurance coverage on the online form and she then instructs me it's mandatory to BUY their insurance or add it to my homeowners policy. I again ask why does it have a decline option on the online form? Again, No answer. I am not insuring what I am storing in their facility nor am I having an insurance claim if the place burns down. They should have their own insurance. Use another storage facility or you will not be happy!

Horrible experience of worst in my life I would never recommend anybody to do business at this location I have never been treated, so horrible in my life by the young female, who called herself the store manager, who refused to provide me service after I have already paid for it online and she was not pleased with my credit card, because I had no idea I could not use a prepaid card I offered to use my regular debit card and she said she changed her mind. She did not want to give me the ability to rent a U-Haul or the storage I had already paid for it she just said that she felt like it and she that was her mood for the day I requested. What did I do wrong? I was polite. I did nothing wrong to her. I had it advisor. I had owned a U-Haul dealership myself and Oviedo. I understood how the process works and she wanted to charge me a whole bunch of additional miles and I told her that was it necessary that she could just charge me 5 miles because I am aware there’s no mandated miles that she can charge. She got upset was highly disrespectful and prejudiced and rude and embarrassed me. I have use your locations before when renting a U-Haul and also storing my furniture for a year and enjoy the experience , this lady had no customer service skills whatsoever. She gave me dirty luxe rolled her eyes and humiliated me and when I asked, can I speak with somebody or talk to anybody else she said no there is nobody else when I question what was the problem she gave me no response. She just said she changed her mind go somewhere else . I was horrified by this unfair and validated treatment because she did not like my credit card which in fact is a USA military credit card I offered to use. She declined my military card because she said she felt like it and it’s her right I know for a fact there was no justification in her actions. I don’t know if she was having a bad day , or maybe I was not the right color or complexion for her but other customers were there and I was only polite to her and patient at the end. She upset me with her disrespect and being so unprofessional she should not even be representing your storage facility at all, she gives this storage unit location a bad reputation. I would never recommend anybody to do any business there a renter U-Haul from her she couldn’t even speak. She would just give you short rude answers and was a know it all like if you questioned her, she would get upset. I don’t know if she has anger management issues or not but this is not the right job for her. I run a business for many many years for U-Haul and I had nothing but exceptional reviews and return customers , I definitely have filed a formal complaint with U-Haul as I know I can and with your area manager because there is no reason why I could not rent to make matters worse she was telling me I was forced to get insurance and I told her I have a homeowners insurance policy from State Farm. I provided her the homeowners insurance policy which I know is excepted and then she threw my papers to the side and was like go somewhere else, so I don’t know if she needed to make a commission that bad that she had to treat me like dirt. You should fire this girl and put somebody in there that wants to go to work and enjoys their job and knows how to treat people with respect and dignity. She treated me as if I was a prison inmate, asking for help and the tattoos all over her make it look very tacky when she’s sitting up there, trying to intimidate people with her looks

I had the best experience getting setup for a storage unit. Ashley Alvelo was the awesome lady who helped me with this process. She was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable and explained everything. I liked the fact that she showed me the unit so I’d be sure it was the right size and we even discussed items that are going to be stored so she could be sure my items would fit! She really took time with me and as an older lady I really appreciate that! My son in law had recommended me to Compass and first impressions mean everything and I was very pleasantly surprised. Ashley at Compass Storage and U-Haul was efficient and professional. I was 3rd in line. She excused herself from clients at counter stating, "Thank you for coming in, I'll be with you in a few moments". I replied no worries. She conducted her business with other 2 clients and within a couple of minutes had me out the door with the keys to the truck I had rented. Upon return that afternoon she greeted me, asked how my move went, was the truck useful. I told her all was good and she reminded me of the support for the leukemia foundation (she addressed when I had arrived). Great customer service with equipment that made the move successful. Thank you Ashley and Compass.

The 3 things I value, and love the most about the oviedo location is how close the drive is, the 24 hr access, and the caring and considerate staff. I went to the office, was greeted with a smile, Ashley quickly helped me decide on the perfect unit, explained everything thoroughly and made move in process a breeze and pleasant experience.

I had my unit for about a year and every time I needed anything at all she was always willing to help me with any questions I had.
