In less than a year of our lease, we have had the price increase no less than 2 times. We signed a lease for $119 per month and they are now going to be charging $193 When I called to ask, the man asked me if I could fit my items into a smaller unit instead of addressing the nearly doubling of payment each month. They currently have similar units listed for $110 per month, but you should plan on paying double that. In response to the company’s reply: When looking online I find equivalent units available for less money than what my units price is being changed to. You do not appreciate my business, and you are not being honest about the need to increase my price.

Immaculate and cool and convenient! I love that they offer combo locks so you don't have to worry about keys. (Another thing competition did not have) Very happy!

Although the rental that I made at Compass Self Storage was relatively small, the service I received was amazing. Charles was so helpful and friendly to me. I was wearing my Air Force veteran hat, and Charles really appreciated the fact that I had served. My rental was a fantastic deal and I will definitely go back there next time I need storage or moving supplies. The store was modern and very well organized. Compass has, in my opinion, a poor business model. We have been customers for 8 years. Our renewal rate for the coming year was going to be upped from $237to $280 a month whereas a new customer could get a larger unit for $199 a month. Rather than offer us the new customer price of $194 a month for the same sized unit we were renting and allow us to stay in the same unit, we were compelled to spend 3.5 hours moving from our current unit to a larger unit in order to secure the better price. Charles, the manager, tried to find a way to make us satisfied customers but was handcuffed by corporate policy. I don’t understand the logic in the corporate policy. We have been pleased with the facility that we have been using but dissatisfied with the pricing structure that is currently in place. I suggest you review this policy and make some changes or you may find your customers leaving you and renting at your steadily increasing competition’s facilities.

When I walked in, I asked about getting information on units, the two associates at the counter continued to have a conversation about their personal life. The one associate treated me as if I didn't belong in the establishment. When I asked questions about the sizes of the unit and how big a 10x10 was, the associate said with a very disgusting tone that a 10x10 is a 10x10. Will not recommend for good customer service! The Compass staff has always been professional, congenial and extremely helpful planning our trips. The U-Haul equipment Compas provides has always been in top-notch condition. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Compas as the best place to go to rent a U-Haul truck for local use, a round-trip or a one way drop off.
