I went into the office 2 weeks and one day before my next due date to providing them a written notice to vacate as required then the rep called me and said that I needed to be out by 6/30 so before this date I removed all items except for the lock and on 6/30 at 17:00 pm I removed the lock. They close at 22:00pm so I was confident that all was good. Then on 7/1 around 10:00am I received a notification of a deductions from compass storage was just removed. At work in an important meeting pissed that I won’t be able to address so I kindly left a firm message to return my funds and I was assure that they would review the camera and see I removed it on 6/30. Hell no, these SOBs had the nerve to leave me a message my lock was on when they have a camera and the last time I enter my code was 6/30 so how is this possible? The fact that they did not check their logs or the camera after I complained shows how they did not care! They just took my money but I will report this to BBB and the attorney General and my bank as fraud

Only complaint I have would be the 2 times a year increase in price. This seems a little extreme, as it doesn’t encourage long term tenants. However, you can move into a new unit to get back to the present new contract price. Just a bit of a hassle.

We paid for storage over 4 years. Just mad because they won't get our money anymore!!! Never will I pay over a thousand for collections.,or any amount. Ever!! Read your fine print,stuff that is left will charge a fee,well I did not get back my deposit, so there you go,you got that and more left over for the left behind fee!!! This was in stone mt. Snellville ga. Oh and plus you jacked my rental up every month also. Sure you didn't do that to locals. I will find out more about that when the time is right. Wink wink. I have been a customer for over 16 months. When I first got my unit I was paying about $160 a month. Every few months I get a new fee added to my account. The price keeps going up. All because of "demand" of units. My new bill for the month of March would be over $215. I asked for that to be waived for 6 months considering the advertisement for the same unit for new customers is only $109 a month. I was denied that request. I asked for assistance on my late fee, struggling to make payments with the price gouging, but that request was also denied. The staff at this location is always great. Although the company's corporate greed has failed their customers. I will not be continuing my business with Compass Self Storage.

I called this place and based on pricing I was told over the phone I made the decision to drive an extra hour and a half to store my belongings at this facility. WOW hidden fees and bs guidelines! I was quoted and signed paperwork for a 50 square foot storage unit. Was going to pay over $100 a month for this space. I signed all kinds of paperwork talking about how I would lose my belongings and be charged if I didn't hold up my side of the bargain. When I seen the storage unit and my stuff did not fit because it was not 50 square feet I was not happy about that. Too much hassle to do a refund after everything was completed. Purchased a lock for $15 that is sold online for $1. They require a specific disc lock. My storage unit was 40 square feet. That's 20% smaller than what I was paying for. It was a headache to make my stuff fit. Would I have gotten away with paying 20% less at the end of the month? When I did decide to check out the lady was very kind and professional with assisting me vacating.

This is a mixed review! Great people, clean facility, and decent prices. I would feel remiss if I didn’t mention that booking on-line was non existent. They use an inferior software to DocuPrint. I filled things out and still requires extra time to do it again in the office. It appears this is new and had glitches.
